
FIRST WEEK OF JANUARY 2022
So the first week = my birthday week is over. In this blog I will do a little review of this week.
How I started you have certainly read in the last blog, on the second day we went to do our weekly shopping at Glatt (yes on Sunday), why because I did not want to go Monday after work. Who would have thought that we would come on this day on TV. I was glad that the vacations were over, that meant routine came back in. The little one had started again on Monday with kindergarten and with work.
Getting everything ready in the morning is my job which I like to do, I usually get up before Shayu, get myself and the things ready for him, tidy up a bit and wake him up afterwards. As soon as he is outside I make myself a coffee and start to work.
Tuesday was nothing special, Wednesday was my birthday the morning I spent with a beauty day for me (lashes, mani and pedicure) in the evening we were with both families in Dosa House in Lucerne to eat it was a cozy nice birthday.
Rest of the week was normal, nothing special. Yesterday there was no Tamil school, me and Shayu went to the hairdresser and afterwards we did our weekly shopping.
In the afternoon I went to my sister where we had dinner together and Shayu and Kanna went to his brother. Since the weather is not so cooperating today, it’s a chill at home day, in the morning brunch and then I wanted to try chappathi.
Since the last 2 weeks we were only eating, we took the menu plan of Inthuvkfit out again. The best thing we did last year, it’s not so easy at first but with time it gets easier and once you let yourself go you can always go back to this plan. Up until before Christmas we didn’t binge or let go like this, but in the last 2 weeks we haven’t paid attention to what we ate. Many people have asked me how I lost weight like this, just with diet and DancewithSarmi once a week. At the beginning I personally didn’t see the difference but now that I can wear jeans and dresses that I could never have worn before, I realize that it was worth it.
But what I am especially proud of this week is that I have still kept all my resolutions. In such things I give up quickly and quickly fall off the wagon but I pulled it through. I even finished a book in the first 2 nights (Perfect Women) ,the cell phone stayed outside in the hallway the whole week. Tuesday I made raalpirattal with roti and today I am trying kilangucurry with chappathi and paruppu.
What I noticed is I get up much more relaxed since I always read in the evening (and not scroll around in Instagram). Let’s see how it goes next week
