In this blog I want to tell you about our summer vacation. We wanted to go on vacation with the family of my husband’s brother, we sat together at the beginning of spring but since we did not find anything we liked, we decided to book last minute. In the middle of June we decided to go to Turkey and had a recommendation from our friends and booked. Two weeks before departure I received the confirmation but my brother in law not, system error of Kuoni, so we had to look at short notice what is available still for 8 people. We had then received 2 offers from the travel agency and have decided for the one with the best ratings.

Since we had on Saturday the flight and we heard everywhere of chaos at the airport, we were 4 hours before there, which was unnecessary we could only check in the luggage 2h before departure and it was not so busy.

Then there was the other panic because of the suitcases whether they arrive or not. After I have made myself smartly what there were for possibilities to track the suitcase, I have decided for the AirTag. It worked perfectly shortly before departure I could check if our luggage was with us on the plane.

We were in the Azzura Deluxe Resort in Side, the facility looked great from the outside but the rooms were too small, cramped and not clean. But yes fortunately we were only to shower and sleep in the room.

The outdoor facilities were super with many pools, a children’s pools and many slides the kids just had great fun and joy. The food was also okey and there was always a children’s show in the evening.

Most of the time we spent in the pool, once we were on a safari tour (had nothing to do with safari) which was so entertaining for all of us, we had a lot of fun. We also had a day trip to a waterfall combined with a boat trip. We were 7 nights in Turkey, in the second week we made a 2 day trip in switzerland, we went first to Lausanne in the Aquantis a mega beautiful aquarium and then after lunch to the Swiss Vapeur Parc. The night we spent in the Hotel Bon Rivage in Vevey a very beautiful hotel. The next day we went to the Dinoworld Cernier, which was okey. At the end we went swimming at the Plage de Gletterens.

That was our 2 weeks vacation, Shayan was then 2 weeks with my parents and in the last week in the soccer camp.
