This past year has not been easy for me. Lockdown, home office with a 4 years old who started kindergarten in August. I had to organize myself with drop him off and picking him up, his free subjects and to work and do the household at the same time was not easy but it worked. Although my husband supported me where he could, I felt I had to do it by myself because I am a woman.

Stop asking each other the same questions over and over again

– Why aren’t you married yet?

– Why don’t you have children?

– Why do you have only one child?

– Why do you need a career/business as a mother?

It’s easy to ask a question like that, but you should think about what the person is going through/how they feel, maybe they don’t want children or they don’t want to get married, what’s so bad about that?

As a Women we already have it not easy, if you don’t support each other do not condemn them.

You always want to please everybody (are probably our genes), friends, families and colleagues but why……I know its easier said than done. I am one of those people who can`t say no, I help everyone, I am there for one, but in the last months I have learned that I must be well before I can be there for others.

We don’t talk about mental health (me either in the past) but now it’s even more important to talk about it, it’s not a taboo subject and you don’t have to be ashamed it’s normal and everyone goes through it….

Writing this blog was much more difficult for me, I think very carefully about what I disclose and what not because I know the more I disclose the more I am vulnerable. Especially what I share on social media, but I have now learned to cope with it even if it took me some time to realize, I AM A STRONG WOMAN.
